Bio

As a teacher, Dale works to guide a student through the development of artistic skills that lead their eye from the abstraction of big shapes and values to the subtlety of the nuances. “If a student is open to instruction they can develop a base that can carry them many directions.”

Dale has traveled to museums and collections in North America and Europe, enhancing her training in the French academic tradition with a search into the work of Titian, Velazquez, Van Dyke, Chardin, Degas, Fantin Latour, Raphael and so many others. By looking into the process of creation, movement and emotion Dale is working hard to infuse more of these elements into her own work.

Personal and commissioned pieces are being created from her studio located in St. Paul, Minnesota and are finding their way into private and public collections throughout the U.S. and Europe.
